Young Poles facing current crises

REPORT

6/12/2025

How do young Poles perceive the current crises?

What threats are most worrying to them today? What helps them cope with these fears? You will find the answers to these questions in our latest report. We conducted the survey on a representative sample (in terms of gender and place of residence) of over a thousand Polish men and women aged 18-29.

Key conclusions:

Most young women are particularly concerned about threats to women's rights in our country.

❕ The deepening economic and financial crisis and the lack of adequate mental health care are the main concerns of both young women and men.

Approximately 30% of young Poles are at clinical risk of developing severe symptoms of depression.

❕ The social support received alleviates the link between fears and symptoms of depression.

Our findings highlight the need to address these concerns in national social and economic policies and to build social support networks and mental health services for young people.
